Biographical Background
Mark Bakos has been in the hospitality industry for more than 35 years both working back of the house from dishwasher, banquet chef, Sous chef and Executive Chef.
His front of the house experience he has worked as a busboy, waiter for a fine dining restaurant, bartender and manager. In 1987, while working in Denver, at the Denver Petroleum Club, as an apprentice chef, he had the opportunity to be a waiter for a fundraiser for childhood diabetes for Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Davis, Denver oil magnate and owner of 20th Century Fox Film Corporation. This function was also filmed for a segment of the long running television show Dynasty. After a few years in Denver, he found himself relocating to Los Angeles and working at Fox as Executive Sous Chef, but under the new ownership of Rupert Murdoch. After spending 12 years in LA, Mr. Bakos relocated back to Pennsylvania where he enrolled in the Hospitality Program at Marywood University and thus earning his Bachelors Degree. He also continued on to his Masters Degree in Business Administration From Regis Universityin Denver Colorado and is now working on his Doctorate in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach, Alabama.
